My lineage = captives from West Africa. Verified by censuses from ancestory.com. Shows who purchased them, then they were to Maryland, then Missississippi, then migrated to Louisiana, then to Tensas Parish in Louisiana. I’ve been to my great grandparents house in that same parish to this day. Another part of my family migrated from the carribean to New Orleans. It shows (colored) as race on the census. Then some of ny Family originally came from Spain (via slavery) to the US. And under race is says “colored”.

You can certainly exploit and exacerbate existing divisions. There are ethnic differences and rivalries amongst whites and Asians but not white or Asian ethnic group will side with a black group against other white or Asian ethnic groups.
