Those artists aren't branding themselves as Atlanta artists though...Cyhi is in Greg Street's hip pocket but because Cyhi doesn't build in Atlanta the right way he's irrelevant locally. Bino ehh. So how is music that's not built for the club/strip club supposed to make it out of Atlanta and still be considered Atlanta? There's a very specific sound that gets pushed around here. Anything outside of that gets little to no love in the streets. So what would you suggest to an artist who doesn't have that sound to do?
