Three episodes in and it's pretty good, certainly a lot better than expected. People online are hyping this up way too much though, calling it classic after two episodes and shyt. Same for the action and violence, yeah, it's a mature show, and in comparison to them CW/DC shows or the Marvel movies it's a whole different world, but people are acting as if this shyt is unheard of for a tv show.
What the real impressive thing here is that in terms of writing this is spot-on Daredevil. The banter between Matt and Foggy, the way he interrogates/fights criminals, the flashbacks with his father, how they portray his senses, you could pick up any good Daredevil book (think Miller, Bendis or Brubaker runs) and it's right there. I'll have to finish it before I give final judgment (especially with some of the criticisms about how Wilson Fisk is portrayed) but this might be the most accurate one-on-one translation from comics to screen.
