shyt was amazing brehs

documentary was dopeness, pics i've never seen, jungle and his commentary

then the screen lifts up and all you hear is "and you sitting at home doin this shyt"

killed the illmatic show... did the one love over sky the limit, did a couple of other beat switches but i can't remember now

then he said "i cant leave without doin some other shyt"

did hate me now and made you look, and we lost our minds

very good documentary. there were two moments that really got to me. the first was when jungle talks about how the trauma of him and ill will getting shot and them not moving out of the projects afterwards made him the way he is right now. especially when i thought about the childhood pictures of him and nas they showed earlier in the movie. the other was when nas apparently looks at the footage of jungle talking about all the people participating in the illmatic photoshoot who went to jail and says "that's fukked up". i felt like in that moment he realized how far removed from that life he actually is because of music and how lucky he was to make it out of there. for jungle, it was a normal part of life, something he almost jokes about. for nas it wasn't. he seemed almost shocked, as if he lost touch and didn't even know what happened to them.

if i recall didnt kelis have issues with jungle bein a mooch that came into light few years back also?

Well I'm not going to argue with you about him being ignorant because he used to say that himself back in the day. But he did manage Nature and Nore.

Q: So what's your relationship with all the Queens cats such as Cormega, Nature?
A: [Jungle] We are not feelin Mega. Mega was corny until he started hanging with my man Lakey. That's when people started looking at him differently "If you mess with Mega you have a beef with Lakey." So Mega started thinking people were scared of him. Mega is obsessed with my brother (Nas) but he doesn't want to see us. And Nature, we stomped him out in front of the chicken spot for saying that stuff about Will's mom. I used to manage Nature when I was seventeen I got him his first record deal. I brought him to Steve Stoute and the Trackmasters.
[Wiz] Nature was nothing but a fill in for Cormega.
[Jungle] Yeah when Cormega started going crazy I was like I got something for his ass. I'm going to make this cat Nature hot. Nobody knew who Nature was until I brought him out and he never respected me for that. I also took Nore away from Tragedy. I got him out of that head lock deal, and got him some real beats and some real money.
