East Side!
I've been saying since 1999 that Jungle needs to release an album. If he released mixtapes a few years ago Jungle really could have been the East Coast Gucci Mane. Still hoping for one solo Jungle album/project/EP just for the hilariousness alone. Son is a true NY nikka

He's gonna be here in Los Angeles in a couple weeks. They're showing the 80 min doc plus a live performance of Illmatic in its entirety. Anybody seen Nas perform live? I've attended many concerts and many rappers sound terrible live ( Snoop is excellent live btw)

Ordered the doc On Demand and definitely not disappointed. Glad for all the Nas love lately its really overdue. Even heard the All Nas Everything mix by Scram Jones on Shade 45 Saturday night and it took me back. :krs:
Only thing that ruined my mood is one of my homies said he wouldn't drop $7 to watch it. Same nikka that would drop $50 to watch a predictable Mayweather fight...

Just saw it at the amc theater on 42nd. Some of the highlights didn't hit me as hard because I've read so much feedback. The documentary was well put together and I really enjoyed it.

last night i was at the showing/performance at the Keswick theater in Glenside, PA (like 10/15 minutes outside Philly) This is my 4th time seeing Nas live (1st was SD tour here in Philly, 2nd was Rock the Bells in NYC Governor's Island, 3rd was Distant Relatives tour here in Philly)

I thought the concept was dope the movie in the performance art theater was cool but it meant shytty sound unlike a movie with surround sound this was just speakers up front....the venue as a whole was weak.....I heard he couldnt have it in the city of Philly cause Live Nation Runs that and he's on another promo platform. Anyway, for the performance this was prolly the worst one not cause of Nas he never disappoints but the audience crowd was very weak. The energy was dead for the most part. Every other concert I've been to of Nas was crazy energy. I guess then again it is just illmatic songs and that's more of a chill/smokers album then "turn up" but when Nas did do some other hits at the end the crowd was live. Im thinking too the crowd was a little weird lots of people you don't normally see at Nas concerts....they probably didnt know the material.

here are some clips....Below are some clips when I was at the Rock The Bells in NYC in 2011 Clips from this concert were used in the Time is Illmatic movie....
