The number of american women without children has risen to a all-time high .

Women without children up 80 percent from 30 years ago.

From 2007 to 2011 the fertility rate in the US declined 9 percent, the pew research center reporting in 2010 that the birth rate was the lowest In us history and that childlessness rose across all racial and ethnic groups.

Btw, this also points to the fact that less people are getting married. Like I said, people in the young professional/grad school circles tend not to have kids, but now, moreso than 30 years ago, they're also much less likely to be married.

This seems to support what I see, since I'm pretty sure that 100% of the young professionals and grad students I know that do have kids, are married. :lupe:

Which is it bruh

WASHINGTON, D.C., January 4, 2013, (LifeSiteNews.com) – The number of children living in single-parent homes has nearly doubled since 1960, according to data from the 2010 Census.
The Washington Times analyzed the most recent census data, showing that the percentage of two-parent families has dropped significantly over the past decade in all 50 states. Even as the total number of American households with children increased by 160,000, the number of two-parent households decreased by 1.2 million.

Today, one-third of American children – a total of 15 million – are being raised without a father. Nearly five million more children live without a mother.

Hard to find a man without kids also. My girls and I are between 30 and 40 and none of us have kids...but I guess you gravitate towards people you have things in common with...I do have some girlfriends who are married with kids...don't know many who are single mothers though.

This is also what I see. Thinking about everyone I graduated college with, the only person with a child (that I know of) is married. Most of us are also unmarried and don't really want to be until 30ish.

Even women that I know from my hometown who had children early, they stopped having children. No one I know is trying to procreate right now.

My friend's that aren't married are 30-32 and they are going after 23-25 year old women, the game gets hard for women after 25 when all these up and coming younger females start looking at older men.

We date guys our age or older, usually...late 30's to mid 40's. A 32 year old with a 23 year old...I mean, good for them if they find things in common, but they're probably in different places in life. That's a huge age gap.

Women don't seem to mind a man with children seeing how they don't have custody.
