Urging Disney and ABC to drop “The Muppets,” the conservative Christian initiative One Million Moms has issued a bulletin warning parents of the mockumentary-style revival’s “perverted nature.”
“ABC has ruined ‘The Muppets,'”
the group states.
Premiering last night on ABC, the half-hour comedy focuses on the everyday lives of Jim Henson’s beloved creations as they produce the fictional late-night talk show “Up Late With Miss Piggy.”
“The mature version of ‘The Muppets’ will cover a range of topics from sex to drugs,” One Million Moms cautions. “Miss Piggy came out as a pro-choice feminist during an MSNBC interview. The puppet characters loved by kids in the 1970s and 1980s and beyond are now weighing in on abortion and promiscuity.”
. Also Ms Piggy doing the screen test for the Hunger Games was funny too.
This means the show will be even better
these same whiners when they were kids were probably watching Animaniacs and Tiny Toons the cartoons we grew up on had over the top sexual/racist jokes now everybody is so pussified
