I'm not stupid. Rob at his worst is WOAT. But at his best he pushed the comic boom of the 90s

Nah, Jim Lee was way better than Liefeld. Lee is the only one of those early 90's image artists who was even close to living up to the GOAT artists of the Bronze age like Walt Simoson, Frank Miller, John Byrne, and Romita Jr.

You can clown on Romita Jr, but his Iron Man and Spider-man runs were ace.

When he rushes his work, he's absolutely terrible, and he can't do "big" out there stuff at all. I never understand why Marvel and DC put him on books where he has to draw cosmic beings and whatnot because they look like pure shyt.

But, and this is a very important but, he draws some of the most dynamic action scenes in comic book history, and when he's firing on all cylinders, he's a beast.

And THAT is what I mean by "the stakes don't seem high with him" because super threats like apoc look like pure trash. Good input.
