Matt Ryan clearly is trying to play like he did in the MVP season but his talent is just not there anymore. His arm can't make the throws he used to make and it wasn't like he had an arm in general.

He is looking like Chad Pennington when he fell off.

It's time for the Falcons to seriously draft his replacement and give him another year like Flacco/Jackson.

I would draft Chase Young or some defensive freak in the top 5 and move up into the late 1st and take Jalen Hurts.

Arthur also needs to write a blank check to Lincoln Riley as well. Give him someone Jalen is comfortable with

So we cut or trade everyone and have no cap space for the next three years. We won’t get shyt for anyone but Julio, DJ and Grady. Get a coach and see what happens. Then let the contracts expire if he can’t cook with these nikkas.


Edit: Shanahan had Ryan looking like a HoFer. Coaching is more important when you already got talent. We just underperform bc of coaching

Step 1: I am back to being a Falcon fan, I smell blood. I can feel his replacement getting drafting this year.

54 fukking points, coaching is everything I bet money after 28-3 happened DQ lost the lockerroom that day, nikkas dont respect him anymore. Time for some new blood we need a well established HC cause we got the talent so the window isnt closed yet

Atlanta needs new blood in the front office, the field and at QB. Until those three areas don't experience change, get rid of everybody.

Lotta issues with this team

We can’t impose our will on teams...TEN beat us up front on both sides of the ball especially in those 4th and short situations we had late in the game and Logan Ryan, Adoree Jackson & Malcolm Butler shut down Julio, Sanu & Ridley

Matt is having another one of those seasons where it takes him a year to learn the offense, which is odd since he played under Koetter for several seasons

Most concerning is the stadium was maybe 30% full...i read somewhere that fan confidence was in the single digits like 8%. That would accelerate an in season change more than the on field product IMO

A couple of other things:

Matt isn’t going anywhere, you cut Matt that’s $60 million in dead money against the cap. He ain’t goin nowhere

DQ is in real trouble but I don’t think he’s getting fired midseason. If the team continues to play like this and is like 2-6 at the midway point maybe but otherwise he makes it through the season and gets fired. Same with Dimitroff.

This team is consistently unprepared, gets blown out in the first half and is undisciplined. That falls squarely on the coach

If ya'll listen to Dan Quinn interviews, he comes off as too nice. I used to think it was an act for the media. But nah, dude is just too nice too be effective. 92.9 gonna be meltdown mode tomorrow.
