Just peeped this, Big E said what he had to say without even raising his voice. Nothing but facts.
With that said - if this is a work - Vince writing a storyline (which would need to be nuanced and sensitively handled) around racial issues is a dumpster fire waiting to happen.
I don't even think Vince is that crafty.

i say this as a big fan of The MIZ but when they were both in The WWE's ECW they give The MIZ's a push/ screen time and chance to develop his ring work and character and put Burke on the sidelines when he was head and shoulder above Miz as a prospect for the future at the time shyt was sad and sickening to see happen

breh had mic skill's and natural charisma you just can't teach

and an amazing ability to confidently act/portray his character

excellent physicality and an explosive athlete with legit combat sport background

muscular athletic build at about 6 foot dude just looked like a top athlete

and really should have gone on to easily have at comparable career as Miz as a upper mid carder in The WWE based solely on talent

I mean look at this shyt dude's charisma and character work is of the charts breh just looks and acts like a superstar :wow:what a goddamn wast of black excellence:francis:

It's telling that Okada took a lot of his gimmick from D'Angelo Dinero (and may have even outright admitted to the Rainmaker gimmick being heavily influenced by Burke). That should tell you something.

To be fair, Pope was just doing a Bernie Mac impression that entire time

Man Pope was always dope every where he’s been I’m surprised he don’t get the same love as many other black wrestlers like say and MVP.

He should’ve had much more opportunities too.

Well I'll say this, no one was clamoring for Kofi to be a main eventer through those whole 11 years. let's not rewrite history.

but once New Day took off heck yeah Kofi deserved his upper card spot and hell yeah the WWE ended it in a whimper with no pay off. And I would like to think Kofi has SOME sway by now to tell management "Yo WTF" but I mean he is black and like the former writer said, no one on the staff really views him like that.

You’d think with the way New Day gambled on themselves (and it paid off) that they’d have a shred more leverage considering the merch $ alone should have them looking like darlings of the company. It ain’t like they’re out here just selling tshirts.

but it’s a weird irony of three dudes kinda just existing solo and going no where to being a fan favorite as a unit after all of the slights, being overlooked and the obvious :mjpls:

Deep down you know they still feel some type of way but are just riding the wave because it could be way worse. At least Xavier carved out his own “little” thing with the gaming channel and proving that “hey, we can make shyt pop off with our own concepts. Give us a chance”.
