Miz goofy ass got chance after chance. Even when the fans weren't fukking with him at all.
But lowkey miz went from being kicked out of lockerrooms to main eventing wrestlemania 
So I can see where he's coming from when he says he knows what it's like but miz clearly tried not to acknowledge the obvious elephant in the room as to why big e and Kofi have been repeatedly overlooked.

Well I'll say this, no one was clamoring for Kofi to be a main eventer through those whole 11 years. let's not rewrite history.
but once New Day took off heck yeah Kofi deserved his upper card spot and hell yeah the WWE ended it in a whimper with no pay off. And I would like to think Kofi has SOME sway by now to tell management "Yo WTF" but I mean he is black and like the former writer said, no one on the staff really views him like that.

You're right to an extent. Kofi was on the rise until he got the legs pulled out from under him in that Randy Orton feud back in 2009. I honestly think he just phoned it in for awhile after that. I can't blame him. He knew he hit the glass ceiling, and he was just content with his spot on the card. I think the same could be said with a lot of guys in that era, particularly the guys who debuted at the same time as Kofi that inevitably ran into Cena/Orton/Triple H in feuds.

They should have let Kofi get the title shot at the Royal Rumble in 2010 instead of Orton. If they wanted to further the whole Legacy breakup, they could have done that in the Rumble match. Having Sheamus and Kofi face each other for the WWE Championship would have been easy to market. The future of the WWE competing for the richest prize in sports entertainment or whatever.
