I give the edge to badu. Really would be nitpicking because they both are Def classics that have stood the test of time but

On and on is one of the greatest beats ever produced

And I just personally feel Lauryn hill has not produced 1 song as great as this one

Lost Ones is my shyt, but I don’t listen to anything past the first half of that CD. In fact, I can’t remember the last time I listened to that CD at all. Meanwhile, Baduizm is on my Spotify playlist constantly.

I didn't personally realize it until a few years ago...

I mean, also considering Erykah has a deeper catalog, but her music always seemed to resonate more with a core black audience
