Nah, that's being way too harsh. Most teams would kill for their roster construction.
* Lopez is an elite rim-protecting floor-stretching center to have next to Giannis.
* Jrue-Middleton-Grayson give you the best trio of 3-and-d perimeter players in the league.
* Portis, Connoughton, Ingles are all serviceable bench players.
Sure, Jrue isn't quite a true point guard, but when your star is as ball-dominant as Giannis, that's where you'll sacrifice. He's fine as a second facilitator. Their big issue is the lack of a better backup point guard but all teams have some hole in the lineup.
Look at Milwaukee's lineup and compare it to the Suns who basically go 5-deep and don't fit together naturally. Or the Lakers whose roster was so bad that picking up D-Lo, Rui, Vandy, Beasley, and Bamba at midseason was somehow a huge win (D-lo would be the Bucks's backup PG, Rui would get time when Giannis was out and none of those other guys would even play). Or the Sixers, the Grizzlies, the Kings....everyone lacking somewhere.
