I find it very interesting ego is one of the tags for this thread...ego is the root of many problems for people. Or pride
If we can learn to think more flexible, that will reduce some of our stress. And expect less from others and life in general
But you also have to stand up for yourself when the situation calls for it, if you dont you wont respect yourself
Basically, you have to learn to be your own friend and get along with your inner dialogue. Who you are when your alone is who you truly are.
Let go of grudges. Having hatred, jealousy, anger, pride etc. in your heart will steal your inner peace from you
Gotta admit some movies and rap music has fed into my pride. Im not looking to remove all that from my life but i want to make sure i listen to some positive mesaages daily...if your religious try Joyce Meyers or Greg Laurie. Despite all the controversey, Joel Osteen has some very uplifting measages too. Theres other positive messages out there aside from religious ones if your not religious, just look up mental health and wellness podcasts
Try to watch less tv, theres alotta sublimal messages and advertisements that negatively effect your subconscious
Supplements...B complex vitamins, St Johns wort, bio strath, chamomille tea, gaba, kava, fish oil and passion flower are all good to look into for naturally calming your body
Exercise and do yoga, think positive
Just one more thing...addictions like drugs, cigarettes, alcohol, fappin will all bring you down
