Climate change is wreaking havoc on our mental health, experts say | Toronto Star
Climate depression is for real. Just ask a scientist
PsySR: Climate Change and Mental Health
I've been thinking about this a lot lately. by the end of the century or by the beginning of the next one, my state will basically be underwater due to rising sea levels. i just walk outside a lot and when i imagine what our environment will look like in a couple of decades, it saddens me. it has gotten to the point where i dont really feel like doing anything productive because i'm like "well climate change is currently having a severe impact on everyone's lives, so why even bother." i mean think about it, its DECEMBER and temperatures are in the 70's and 80's in the south. it was never like this before. every year, we beat the record for the hottest year in world history. i dont know if i'm overreacting, but it sucks that the disaster that climate change wil bring is inevitable (especially since we elected trump ). do any of you feel the same way?
