I do believes Cuomo would win if he ran for mayor. However, I can't see his ego allowing him to run for a lesser position having been governor. He was on the short list of potential Democratic presidential candidates before the scandals hit.I read an article that said former Governor Cuomo thinking about running for mayor if Adams resigns due to the federal corruption investigation or gets removed from office. His team has been doing polling to see how he would do. But the article also said Cuomo wouldn't run for mayor if Adams is still mayor at the time of the 2025 election because he's friends with Adams.
I really think Cuomo would win the election. He still has a base of supporters.
Hochul and those upstate municipalities ain't having that. Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties have already pushed back.Don't know why he can't redistrubute them through the state.
I'd call Abbott and ask him to give a heads up on my many he's sending and work with Albany to get housing all over the state then ask for emergency federal funding for homeless people.
As a Marine Park resident, I do find the Floyd Bennett Field situation ironic due to the fact neither the neighborhood nor the migrants approve of the shelter location. The sense of entitlement some of these migrants possess never cease to amaze me however. It's definitely a scenario where virtue signaling has gone terribly wrong. This the same Adams that was talking cash money shyt when Texas had problems
Funny thing about this immigration issue. All these internet warriors who spend all night debating for these immigrants, why are they online debating people instead of flying to New York city and providing food and shelter to these poor people fleeing violence?
I mean, they all innocent looking for a better life right? Why are the internet/social warriors who live in NYC and Long Island not opening their doors and welcoming these foreigners into their homes? Set the example.
Long Island has mansions. Greenwich Connecticut right next door, home to the rich people. These mansions have how many rooms? Eric Adams has personally welcomed how many onto his personal property? How about AOC how many families is she letting into her home so they don't have to freeze to death this winter?
It's so important to let these people in right? All the big money Democrats will call u slurs if u stand against immigration. So why are they not out on the streets providing food and shelter to every single last one of these individuals?
They should not be camping on the streets. This is uncivilized. Long Island needs to be opened up and the wealthy people there should open their doors and properties to house these people. Long Island as a whole is where the NYC homeless should be bussed, that area has plenty of resources and old money, open Long Island up to the immigrants and the homeless.
Oh wait
I forgot. Everybody gives a damn til the immigrants/homeless are sleeping at your front door asking u and yours personally for food when you walk out. Now it's problem.
