The Wizards front office is worse. Please do not think otherwise.

Nah. Wizards have never risen to the mountain top. Cuban did...then threw it all away to try and sign Dwight Howard and Deron Williams in back to back seasons...

They haven't been out of the 1st round since winning a title...

Would you rather pay john wall max money or would you rather pay chandler parsons and wes Mathews max money?

John Wall was the consensus #1 overall pick and everyone in the league would have kept him on a 5 year $80M deal based on his age and potential.

The GM doesn't deserve credit for taking him and keeping him

:mjlol: @ this coming from a Rockets fan.

At least the Mavericks front office doesn't play NBA Live to make front office decision like the Rockets front office. :mjlol:

Like everyone else said we do not value draft picks MC is too impatient to develop talent.
The Chandler Parsons deal really pissed me off we over paid him.
Winning the chip was a gift and a curse
IMO Dallas isn't as attractive to FA's as San antonio or Houston.
I like Wesley Matthews I'm not gonna throw him in the bushes yet.
Life after Dirk might be the wake up call they need to change things.

Parsons isn't even a bad player. He's just a 2nd option at best.

I mean they won a championship 5 years ago. Ur gonna see alot worse contracts in the coming years when the cap rockets and teams try to hit that salary floor...for example 76ers are gonna have to end up paying rookies and retreads whatever money they don't spend ...Not a penalty but there are better use of funds

Mavs should just short term deals with FA's til Dirk retires, then have a full fledged rebuild.

It's not like Cuban hasn't been trying to get talent the past few years though. He's made runs at Bron Melo Jordan Dwight etc. over the past 5 plus years. It's not his fault that none of them wanted to come there. When Dirk retires they will struggle for a while unless they get lucky with a draft pick like they did with him. Cause for some reason players don't seem to keen on Dallas even though I would think it is a destination spot with the weather and the amenities that Marc would give you.
