Re-watching these films have made me realize how much of an impact they had on action movies. There many post matrix series action films that completely copy the action sequences from the Matrix series. And the audience loved it because it was just so cool to watch.

nikka I was screaming in the theater like a bytch :deadrose: Now it's a bit goofy but back then, I was literally :damn:
he literally lifted that shyt off solid concrete, bashed it into agent smiths chest, and continued to whip that shyt around like he was gotdamn Donatello from the Ninja Turtles :damn:

I fukkin lost it when I first seen that movie. For a movie that isnt a japanese kungfu joint, the hand to hand combat is what made this american movie one of a kind :banderas:

that scene alone made me like the movie so much more despite how terrible an actor Keanu is

Breh, check this out. Timestamps from 0:00 to when he lands to 0:12.

The way he lands, rakes the one dude to the side quick like 'foh' and then SMACKS another Smith at 0:07, leaps in the air to get the next nikka.... The sound that pole made mixed with the sudden bullet time... and that shyt was reverberating in the theaters... with the music....
I was gone :damn: :whew: I thought it was the coolest thing I'd ever seen in my life.

I saw Reloaded in theater 5 times, once or twice in IMAX (which was something else.)

The funny thing I've noticed over the years is that Black people love The Matrix compared to other scifi/fantasy joints. Which is fascinating as hell to me. Lord of the Rings we don't really give a fukk about.

Any other martial arts movie joints give you that :damn: feeling like The Matrix?

Funny you say that about black people since it was supposed to be mostly black folks in that movie. Will was supposed to be Neo and Jada was Trinity. Aaliyah RIP was supposed to be Links girl in Reloaded :mjcry:
