EA still owns them so I won't be buying. Sucks cause ME1 is one of my all time favorite games
The reapers don't preserve life intentionally at all though. In every instance where they wipe a sentient species off the map, they didn't really particularly care about the collateral. Planets took extinction level hits regularly - whether it be the ash of a planet sized fire or kinetics. They killed all sentient, relay using life. They didn't respect any of it though.^This.
Reaper invasions (they went to every system) made sense to me: they can't really glass all the planets Halo-style if their mandate is to preserve life (by killing off advanced species) so they'd have to go planet-side to kill everyone.
Just my thoughts:
1) See above why the Reapers coming down to the surface was a thing. The only Reapers that are a global threat are (were) Sovereign and the Capital-class ones. All this talk online making the Reapers out to be like gods is ridiculous: yes, they're strong but they're not immortal and they can be destroyed (as we saw in the 1st game). It just takes a fukkton of firepower.
2) What was Anderson rambling about? All he did was stay to lead from the front like a real one and reinstate Shep and have him go get help.
3) The Starkid thing was dumb, no arguments here. Especially if you played as a renegade and was like fukk that little kid anyways.
Yeah, the ending wasn't the best but I'm not sure exactly what ending would have satisfied everyone. If Shep lived some ppl will complain that it wasn't realistic. If Shep dies, ppl would complain about that. Granted having to choose three outcomes (or no choice at all) and handwaving the logistics behind some of those outcomes wasn't the best bet either.

And Anderson went from being a quasi-mentor to an old man looking for a place to die damn near over night. He was never the best character, but he still fell off hard and made sure to remind the player often.
I don't think there was make any real ending out of the way they set things up. You should've just died no matter what.... the indoctrination theory was pretty fun though.
Jade Empire firstBout time, the way bioware been making games lately, they'd be better off just doing remasters and remakes of their old shyt exclusively from now on.
Remaster this shyt
then do a KOTOR remake.
The issue is that Disney doesn't consider the game's canon. It is so stupid since KoTOR 1 & 2 are easily the best Star games and are classic games period. Although that is assuming you are playing KoTOR 2 with mods.
People would love a non-MMO Star Wars RPG.
Revan and Bane have both been referenced in the Disney SW canon.
Technically all pre-Disney EU is "Legends", but they can still pick and choose what they want to canonize (see Thrawn). All they have to do is say the word and the entirety of KotoR is canon again. Revan and Bane already are.
Aye, Mass Effect 1 remastered could be fukking amazing
edit: mixed remake with remaster. I'll show my way out
Even with ME1's better writing, and some updated graphics, I'm not really tryna be back in that Mako again.
ME1 had the best writing and RPG elements, but the worst combat system IMO.
A nikka does miss immunity doe.
Mako was really awful. I don't meet many ME fans that try to defend the Mako, even if they themselves like it. The Nomad was an upgrade and IMO does show vehicular exploration of planets can be done, however another issue with that is the planets need to be interesting to promote discovery.
I loved the Mako but any time I tried to explain to someone how to traverse a difficult area....Mako was really awful.
