No because 1) these games are old and 2) in a few months this is likely to be substantially cheaper after they run through all the impatient buyers that had to have it right away.

only thing close is the asscreed collections - and those games are cut and paste with upscaling sprinkled on top. there's more updated stuff added to each of these titles than handsome/borderlands titles. and when it comes to cross plat support, it was a years long work in progress. you want to compare one remaster title against others cool, then by all means but "its old" is wild reductive. especially when SE legit makes its games look worse by cartooning their existing designs and nintendo is making people pay to simply run games on emulators.
maybe look at bioshock or something to compare. when diablo 2 remaster comes out, "its old" ain't exactly helpful information
The content doesn't matter. This isn't Nintendo. After EA sells through the initial wave they'll cut the price as they usually do. The newest of these games is like 9 years old and available on EA Play for no extra charge as they all are. This is one of those situations where it pays to be patient. Had an encounter I've never seen. A Salarian got pistol whipped and Jazzy Jeff'd down the stairs of a casino.
The randomness of the scene had me dying.

For all of the talk about Andromeda's combat being good, the enemies were such shyt that it felt like doing combo moves on training dummies most of the time. 2 and 3 have some really good gameplay and enemies to match.
I'm not arguing eventual sales, I'm saying the quality of a remaster matters a lot when arguing against other remasters. Those versions of the game and these aren't the same at all. Its like comparing Borderlands out the box/Borderlands GOTY edition/Handsome. You want to say those are the same, you clowning.

I played Mass Effect series on Xbox 360 at that time which I loved it but ME 3 ending ruined series for me. I cant go back knowing how it ends.
IMO, new game is better than overpriced ports of games that were rerereleased 2 or 3 times already. They should have done what Mafia series did like remake Mafia 1 only on next generation so rest of it are remastered so having Mass Effect 1 Remake so it would make sense for that price but they didn't and the price should be $30 at least. So I wait for sale.
