I’ve played every ME game and I think andromeda gets a lot of unwarranted hate. The story/characters aren’t as compelling as the first 3 games but they’re certainly not bad, and the gameplay is as good if not better than the other games. The story of andromeda is based around the timeline of the 3rd game but it’s practically a spin-off because it takes place in a galaxy so far away that the characters freeze themselves for like 200 years before they reach the destination. I’d say it’s worth playing if you’re into SciFi RPGS

my main complaint about andromeda was the planets were all barren as fukk and I got tired of driving over a bunch of nothing to get to objective points. And you’d encounter the same skirmishes over and over on planets too. Go past a certain spot and the enemy would always be there.

aside from that it was a solid game. Combat was piff.

I’ll bite.

explain what was broken after the first patch. I say that because I didn’t play the game until after that dropped.

I had a flawless smooth experience playing the game. My biggest problem with the game was the hand size for the women and the Asari faces.
