don't give a shyt about this movie, but i genuinely think Kamala Khan is the best character that we've met on Disney+. not really from a power set, i just think the character is really charming.

Yeah I thought I was going to hate Ms Marvel but you could tell that the actress actually enjoyed the role and brought that enthusiasm to the performance. Also the show was actually fun. Something Marvel has forgotten is actually needed.

And in interviews you can tell that she likes comic book material in general. Teyonah also seems to bring genuine interest to her role as Monica Rambeau as well.

But Brie Larson has the performance energy of someone being forced to do it for a paycheck and that's about it. In fact I'm not even sure she likes being an actress. So it's not sexism that explains all the criticism of her performance. It's that her Captain Marvel performance is just flat and uninteresting.

So if this movie is some generic team up paint by the numbers film then it's going to flop. Just like Shazam and Ant-Man.

And they don't want to do it but they need to center it on Monica and Ms Marvel and have Carol as the sidekick and keep her off to the side because she's going to drag the film down otherwise.

Also last year Black Adam wasn’t a failure, it was a huge hit same for Elvis, Sonic and Uncharted.
