actually the jays had the highest payroll in the early nineties, as well they made roger clemens the most expensive pitcher in baseball for two yeasr, not to mention they gave vernon wells 7 years 126 mill and alex rios 5 year s50 mill but we got out of that

Its funny how he didnt bat an eye when his buddies the red sox wanted to get rid of their high salaries
that was a different circumstance entirely....the marlins have a history of doing this, that coupled with the fact that they didnt even get the top prospect...plus have all this new money coming in from the new park, funded by THE CITY.....
