iron man 3 is a great movie and will go down as one of the best of the year. the twist with the madarin actually made it interesting more than anything else.

I liked it but shyts not going to be in the top 20 of the year

Hugh Jackman's too tall, Ian Mckellan is too old, Heath Ledger is too fruity, the outfits aren't the same as the comic, there's no SHIELD, there's too much SHIELD, blah blah blah

Only one I agree on is Jackman being too tall. That's one of the reasons I like Wolverine. He's a stumpy motherfukker getting into all kinds of crazy shyt. Jackman is cool too, but...yeah. Oh well. They're wasting him on shytty movies anyways

Honestly could give two shyts about the mandarin twist, having Kingsley as an Asian terrorist would've had so many people crying racism. So i aint mad at that, it could have played out worse.

I am mad that the extremis part of the storyline was so...overplayed/underplayed at the same time. Mandarin twist stole the show. I think they could've used that part of the story (and Guy Pearce) a lot better.

Plus that whole 'buddy cop no armor whee' thing wasn't interesting to me either, although I support Don Cheadle.

They could've gone with the more modern version though of the Mandarin though... It didn't ruin the movie for me but I was definitely hoping for a double twist with Trevor on some Usual Suspects shyt

yeah I was pissed at the twist but it was hilarious how it turned out but my hope for the double twist was the vice-president being the Mandarin.

the funniest part of the movie to me tho was....

...but now that he can make the suits and have Jarvis control them he can effectively create an endless army. They gonna have to explain a way out of this in Avengers 2.

As far as this twist shyt goes FOH with the cop outs. There's no real reason they couldn't have just reworked a non-racist Asian head of a terrorist organization into the plot. In no way, shape or form I'd this the same as nit-picking over which suit Wolverine wore cuz at the end if the day they got the ESSENCE of Wolverine, as a character, correct on the screen. A better analogy would be if instead of giving him adamantium claws that come out his hands, they had instead made his build claws to wear a la Freddy Krueger. There is SOURCE MATERIAL to this shyt ppl so you best believe ppl who know these stories are going to be a little bit passionate about it when major stuff gets changed.

There is no way in hell they could've incorporated the rings into the movie. Let's be real here. People must've forgotten Iron Man was getting fukked up in the first two movies by shyt that is nowhere near as dangerous as the 10 Rings.

How the hell would he stand a chance against the rings? I realize people want source material intact but be realistic. They would've had to ramp up Iron Man's power an insane amount to believably take on The Mandarin as he is in the comics.

I'm pretty sure he has a back-up suitcase Armour Suit deep in storage that he hadn't told Pepper about just in case SHIELD calls him back. Plus he can just always create a new suit if some New York alien invasion happens again.

Plus he was controlling all of dem suits mentally and remotely after he injected all of that stuff inside of him so that chest piece is probably not needed anymore because of that.
