Star Trek: The Next Generation did the same shyt, sometimes they would just have episodes where they spent the whole time in the in holo room waxing poetic about shakespeare or some shyt. Mandolorian at least keeps the action going

dude openly walks around with “the kid” like it’s a phone he can slip in his pocket that no one can see. Of al the favors he does for these random people why isn’t he leaving the kid somewhere that’s proven to be safe and make sure his ship is damn near indestructible and fast.

You could be right, but I think the plot is going somewhere. They just put in a lot of obvious filler to keep people from ditching Disney+
