Since I haven't heard any "ratings" talk, I was starting to get scared that the ratings for this show might not be as good as we all hope them to be. I mean, "Baby Yoda" is talked about a lot, but I always have a creeping fear that any show that I like might be in danger.

Thankfully, I just found this article that seems to be saying that The Mandalorian is actually doing better than expected:
'The Mandalorian': A Hit So Big Even Netflix Can Respect It - Variety

:obama:
Considering all the merchandise flying off shelf while the sequel trilogy is on clearance tells me the Mandalorian should finish its story

I feel like that is going to come back to haunt him. They know what he looks like with a helmet and without.

Other Bounty hunters are going to eat

He never takes his helmet off and he basically doesn't have a family besides Baby Yoda (who the Empire is already after) so I don't think he'll get in bigger trouble than he already has. I just thought it was interesting an Imperial terminal could be used by literally a nobody without it reacting...unless his face is already in their archives :lupe:

I feel like most people only wanted him for the beskar. Not really to kill him.

And Grogu seemed to be only something Moff Gideon wanted. He wasn’t really a target of the Empire/First Order at large

Cool episode. Does the Imperial terminal recognizing Din Djarin's face and not showing an alarm or error mean anything? :patrice: I know the point of all that was him taking off his helmet in public but idk, kinda felt that a terminal would go " who the fukk are you" unless he has history with the Empire :patrice:

TBh the episode had a LOT of convenience writing. The reason I could see it not mattering is because the Storm Troopers are just fodder and there’s so many of them it probably don’t matter. I think they said the database just scans to see if you’re wanted by the empire or some shyt.

but yeah it’s still convenience writing. Shut like Bill Burr walking around with no helmet while every other Storm Trooper typically keeps their helmet on.
