Having watched it for a second time now, I take back what I said about sloppy writing - and will chalk it up to sloppy editing instead.

Writing was fine, from dialogue to the set-pieces. The editing is a bit questionable in how Mando is reacting to stuff. The shots of him trying to grab Grogu are too similar and it's unclear how long he waits to take certain actions (fight/pick up his jetpack) for me.
It's really only like 2/3 edits that are lacking a bit but for me it was uncharacteristically sloppy for this show, which is edited incredibly tight for the most parts.

Still a dope ass episode and excellent season. The Grogu/Boba stuff more than make up for these nitpicks.

Mano leaving his jetpack was by far the worst part of the episode he completely had the upper hand on Bobba and Fennic especially with the whistling needles.
