no big deal but these Razor Crest repairs are so unrealistic:russ:
crash lands on a ice planet resulting in holes in the hull but still able to take off somehow
is able to fly to the water planet and get completely submerged but they able to fix it with rope in a few days
and this episode, its a brand new ship within a few hours it seems, able to do tricks and destroy Tie Fighters like nothing:heh:

This brings me to a thought I had while watching this series... the economics in Star Wars make absolutely no sense.

On one hand you got a nikka walking around in what I would assume is $1000+ armor who is constantly in rundown towns with a bunch of barely surviving people. These same barely surviving people are able to fix big ass spaceships no problem. Exactly how much does a repair of a spaceship cost? If you want to fix a minor dent on a car in our current world it's like $400. A big ass space ship like that... probably thousands.

I know what you're thinking... this isn't real life. Machine, computer, and droid parts are probably cheap. Cool.. then why doesn't everyone have a spaceship, droid, or speeder bike?

I would love to see someone (maybe a nerd Youtuber) do a deep dive on the economics of Star Wars because on the surface it makes no sense. :heh:

Based on a quick google search, seems like a "credit" in Starwars is roughly worth a little more than a US dollar:
[Star Wars] How much is one galactic credit worth? : AskScienceFiction (reddit.com)
How much are Republic Credits worth? - Quora

But I don't think any of the writers really put all that much thought into it.

Anyway, I think Mando's armor is actually worth MILLIONS of dollars. The bricks of raw beskar that it's made out of seem to be worth MUCH more than the equivalent gold bricks, plus the labor required by a master blacksmith to turn them into armor.

Aight so I finally decided to checkout this show. I consider myself a light Star Wars fan, meaning I've seen all the movies, played some of the games, but can't be bothered to read the novels from the EU.

I binged the entire first season yesterday and even read the entire Season 1 thread on here. I've also binged the 6 episodes from this season. My thoughts watching this throughout the run:

-I feel bad for folks that had to watch the first season weekly. I was getting impatient as a binger. Sitting there like, "Are they gonna advance this story or not?" and "How many times is Mando gonna get double crossed!?!?" :damn::stopitslime:
-This is obviously much better than any other recent Star Wars stuff
-How the fukk did Timothy Oliphant know how to master Boba's armor and weapons like that? :dwillhuh:
-It was dope to see Asohka. WTF is she doing tho? Just chilling on her lonesome?
-I guess lightsabers can't penetrate beskar metal. Didn't know that.
-I really wish they didn't shoehorn Boba Fett into this. It totally wasn't needed.

I have a couple of questions:
-What happened to the rumor that Pedro Pascal wanted to be done with the show?
-Clearly the show is just as much about Grogu as it is Mando. Do you think there's ever a point where Grogu reaches a home and Mando goes out on his own?

I might add more as I continue to go through this thread. But at this point I'm watching live with yall. :blessed:

She could be on her search for Ezra, which is why she would be out looking for Thrawn.

Boba might be a shoehorn, but they at least set it up over a couple of episodes before revealing who he actually was. Just some fun fan service for a show that many thought would be about Boba.

Grace from Beyond the Trailer put that rumor out. Hard to know if its true or not.

Much speculation that Grogu is the Mandalorian the title refers to. He's a foundling just like Mando who is experiencing multiple trauma.

I think I figured out who took Grogu from the Jedi temple.

It was
Maul. Moff Gideon showed Grogu the Darksaber asking "remember this". The only way Grogu would of seen the Darksaber if we're going off the timeline is Maul had it kept away during Order 66. We know Maul was able to escape in the series finale of The Clone Wars, but do not know where he went. It could be logical that he went to Crouasant to go look for Palpatine and headed to the Jedi temple and found Grogu hiding and took him in thinking he could train Grogu the ways of the dark side to seek vengeance on Palpatine. It would explain how and why Grogu knows how to use Sith powers and know of the Darksaber. I do not think it was after Sabine getting it.

He and Grogu had met before since he mentioned his improved use of force wielding. I don’t think he was using sith powers. He was being threatened nd defending him.

Nah. Before they fought Maul told Ahsoka only together would they have a chance against Palpatine. After her rejection and implementing of Order 66 the goal was to just survive and find what power he could in the galaxy. No way would he immediately go solo to try to get at Palpatine at the base of his new empire
