She produced Rogue One as well which was entrenched in the OT. So again, I don't think the new trilogy is all that great. But I think the hate she specifically gets is a bit much.
She may have have Rogue one, but she couldn't even get Obi-Wan out the door and people don't even talk about the Solo movie :dead:

she ain't fired, but she done

Her problem is that she has tried to insert herself on the creative side(or rather Disney did, in a pitch to try moving away from Lucas' ideas being the central focus), where she has no capacity whatsoever.

Just because you managed the budget to build an aircraft carrier doesn't make you qualified to be it's captain.

I really like the finale a lot and I want to talk about all the stuff I loved about it, but just a real quick question out there to everybody, is anybody else that’s not a diehard Star Wars fan (that did not read the books or the comics) confused on the whole is Boba Fett a Mandalorian or not? And if he’s not is he fine to wear the armor?

:mindblown:

I’ve seen all the movies but it seemed like 2 weeks ago they basically said he is because his dad Jango was, but now he’s “just a clone” and not worthy of the Mandalorian armor?

Maybe it’s just because I’m really tired but I was confused at that entire early sequence in the bar
Jango Fett is Mandalorian. Boba was his special clone raised as his son but not in the Way of Mandalore. Since he is Jangos son, Mando creed Boba has a right to Jangos armor.

I dunno why he caping for this bytch so hard. She the kind of studio head that the industry hates. The kind that gets in the way of creative to its detriment.

His father was mandalorian so technically that makes him mandalorian as well

Being mandalorian means you're from the planet mandalore. That's it. Mando is from a different sect/tribe that's from mandalore.

It's like being from the planet earth, but you're from the United states but somebody else is from Africa. You're still humans from the planet earth.

She deserves the hate but fans acting like she's going to get fired when she obviously has major pull at Disney is :mjlol: worthy.

Just like anyone acting like they're gonna retcon 3 movies they spent hella money on. :mjlol:

They'll just do a time jump in either direction and craft some new stories.

I wouldn't call it caping, it's not even really her fault. She's just caught in the middle. She came on board with the Lucasfilm deal, she's not a Disney studio person. Disney simply has it's own agenda and that's shaping culture for profit...so it's inevitable, just like they're doing with Marvel, that they'll make changes to the original property to suit those goals.

To explain in the simplest way, TECHNICALLY he is not a Mandalorian, but he still the rightful owner of the uniform armor all because of a loophole. Jango Fett was a foundling like Din and was inherited to become a Mandalorian due to fighting among the Mandalorians. When Jango was murked by Mace Windu, Boba kept the armor because it was now his. They did explain this a few episodes back as to why Boba can keep the armor.

That being said Boba Fett is a CLONE, but his "father" is not so by Mandalore tradition, the armor is passed down. But it's a loophole, because Boba still is a clone.
