You must work a ton of hours to make that and live in a city where a 1bdr is 470 a monthNo 50K which is more than 70% of workers in the US.
no I work a normal full time job. barely any overtime. You must work a ton of hours to make that and live in a city where a 1bdr is 470 a month
Yeah but you work a "normal job" paying you 50k. I'm assuming it's not a white colllar job. You work standard 7.5- 8hr days making 50k but pay 470 a month in rent? You must know someone.no I work a normal full time job. barely any overtime.
The fear of deflationor we can look at why the cost of living is artificially high and work to bring it down...
@ people still chasing the mirage of equality
Gus Money said:I'm honestly more surprised that people don't know these numbers. I guess I'm used to seeing this since all of my clients are low income people.
A family of 4 ain't making it on 20K a year. Not without major aid.I keep saying the same thing to myself. Questions like 'How can people live off $30k/yr.?' don't make sense to me.
I know families of 4+ where the average income is about $20k/yr. and I live in the wealthiest county in my state.
An EFFICIENCY apartment here will run about $600+/mo. to give you an idea.
Section 8 is NO joke, but the cost of living + inflation most definitely is.
Thats ridiculous. I dont make shyt but i have no debt and am climbing to 10k. Im assuming student loans and credit card usage has contributed a lot to that stat...hard to believe.
It's coming. Or they can keep cutting. It will work itself out.Its really was funny considering we live in Kansas, which has implemented similar policies and is now facing a 349 millon deficit.
