that would be about 1300 for a shytty one in jersey..not even around public transportation to nyc either :(
Well this gets me in a lower middle class mostly white area close to Flint Michigan. My shyt did get broken into once 4 years ago but it was a chick I was dealing with that set me up by unlocking the balcony so she could have people climb in when I was at work. Other than that no incidents.

:krs:or we can look at why the cost of living is artificially high and work to bring it down...

:wow:@ people still chasing the mirage of equality
:wow: Exactly the root of the problem was never wages or raises..its INFLATION...but people have been conditioned to accept inflation as a fact of life and that deflation must be fought off by a noble and heroic central bank elite through printing more money

It can't be a combination of both?

Payments accepted Obamacare,paypal and livestock
It can't be a combination of both?

:patrice: More like one leads to the other...since your take home pay buys less and less each year then you must confront your employer and ask for more to maintain your standard of living..before the central bank your pay would buy more and more each year. This would mean more disposable income more savings more investment and greater growth.

Depending on where you are, its not actually that hard.
You can rent a house here in Cleveland or in one of the neighboring suburbs for about $500 a month, get a roommate and split utilities and you're paying about ~$350 per month on rent and utilities, about $100 a month on gas, $200 a month on food, and a still have money left over.
And a good chunk of the US lives in rather low-COL cities.
or rural areas where land/homes have been in the family for generations, some upkeep, taxes, utilities and food are their concerns. A 50-60k household in most of America is perfectly doable

You say this as the people at the top horde all the wealth. people aren't getting reasonable pay for the jobs they perform. inflation defeats the value of minimum wage which barely rises.

Working to earn a living isn't a free ride either.
it depends.
What jobs are you talking about?

If youre in a job that can be performed by anyone (or there are too many people doing what you do)...then, no...youre not going to be getting paid.

but there are industries that need workers.
Certain manual labor/manufacturing industries need workers.

The insurance industry needs workers.

Want to make some money right now?
Learn to sell...a good sales person can make $100K starting right now!

People who dont focus on money tend to not make it...
...but if its a priority of yours...youre going to make it.

How the FUKK does half this country live off $30k a year. How the fukk can even live off 50k a year?!:damn:

So fukked up brehs.
If you don't weigh yourself down with kids it's not impossible. If the majority of these people out here and raising families on these numbers then they are one lay off away from homelessness.

The sad reality not a soul will address is that it's too expensive to have kids and a family in this day and age. A time will come when only the wealthy will be allowed to do it. Because inflation is here and isn't going away.

Wow....I sound like an Alex Jones nutcase right there. :francis: But it's real.:mjcry:

Wage Statistics for 2015
70% of the people that work in this country make less than $50,000 a year. Half the people that work in this country make less than $30,000 a year.

Something desperately needs to be done about income inequality. I'm not saying everyone should be millionaires but people should mostly at least be approaching $50,000 a year working full time.

It's amazing, but some people live in areas were 30-40K is actually comfortably living.

What I find unbelievable is that people in this SF Bay Area make 30-50K a year. 100K is the bare minimum to even live here. Rent is $5000 for a decent apartment and an average track house is more than a million dollars.

As a financial statement auditor, I have access to the hard-data when it comes to payroll at many Companies. Many people are living on 30-50K somehow. However, the average engineer entry position is $130K at minimum, and director and above make 300-1M on average (not including equity and annual bonus). This is a 100% democrat controlled area, and the Corporations are run by Democrat executives. Yet, somehow, this area has the widest gap between the elites (elites who are majority Democrat) and the poor. There has been a noticeable exodus of Californians to the Neveda and Texas, which is turning those states bluer and bluer every year.

It's Amazing that Democrats believe that they have answers to the economic woes of the poor, while the poor in their own backyard are subject to the worst economic gap in the entire nation. Not only is it an economic gap. Turn your head to Berkeley or Oakland and see the largest Gap in educational achievement and other telling social statistics. It's actually a very sad situation. Vote Democrat!

And we're suppose to be the greatest nation on Earth? I told this dumbass(cokehead) white co-worker of mines that while Northern Europeans taxes the people there lives are much more comfortable. Him believing that the USA is the GOAT nation on Earth could not comprehend that...

I had similar conversations with a white co-worker. Told him several Nordic countries had various programs that the USA didn't have despite us being the greatest country on Earth. His reply was that it just couldn't work over here, that we shouldn't compare the USA to tiny countries.....eventhough we spend 600 billion a year on the Military. I then brought up free healthcare and his response was that people should pay for it....no handouts....only to later reveal how amazing his healthcare was and how cheap he could get medicine because his father worked for a Big Pharma and got rockbottom prices on his plan. Such a hypocrite :dead: My other co-worker basically admitted the only reason why Nordic countries have such policies and we don't is because they're mostly homogeneous societies so there's more of a mindset that we're taking care of our own whereas in the USA whites would never do it because they don't want their hardearned money going to blacks or hispanics even if it benefited them too.

My dad, who is as conservative as they come, was shocked when I told him what the average family in this country makes. He literally said, "Seriously? That's nothing."

its also easier than ever to be self employed/start your own business.

Information has never been this readily available

The years of a free ride (it was a short time in history) is over (I.E. - working in a factory)...
...if you dont have an in demand skill...or the drive to constantly learn...youre going to be broke.

The government cant save you from this.

Uhh . . . working in a factory in industrial-age America was never a "free ride."
