Lots of people with coarse, high porosity, frizzy hair be calling themselves 4c when they aint. It's like if they think their hair is unmanageable, it must be 4c/4z

Water only method, is cheap and usually provides less frizz. It's using your scalps natural oil/sebum to nourish your hair. The only thing is if your hair is highly textured, it takes about a month or more for the sebum to reach down the hair shaft.
