It's rainy and I'm off today. So we got some choices.
My neighbor just called but I don't know if I wanna go over and crash there or stay at home and catch up on Samurai Jack...

Be Anti-social or interact with people...
I also need to put my stew in the crockpot and condition my hair...:patrice:
I dunno if we comfortable enuff yet for me to walk around with a plastic cap and a head full of conditioner. Company is cool but sometimes it's just more convenient chilling at ur own spot...

Uh, this wasn't really supposed to turn into a discussion about which gender suffers more, my goal was to understand why we, black women, would say our men have been coddled/are coddled, generally speaking. Who is doing the coddling and how does that effect them?

Personally, I have three brothers, no sisters, and we were treated equally, but raised differently. I never mowed the lawn, but I also didn't clean the kitchen by myself, that was a group effort. I guess I don't understand scrutinizing them when it could be said the same for us given the right scenario.

That was my experience. I was the only boy so I did stuff like mow the lawn and helping my dad fix plumbing and then doing my turn of washing the dishes.

So basically to summarize I did what my sisters did but added into that was labor work like cuttig grass etc

So what is the issue? Scrutinizing itself or scrutinizing men?

Would you have an issue with scrutinizing women?
