Great., I assumed most were emotionally neglected like me. everybody was emotionally unavailable and nobody looked out for me because they assumed I was a dude so I didn't need it. Never even heard I love you from any male figure ever , father included
then say boys, cus society coddles BW a hell of a lot more"Black girls are raised, black boys are loved."
Black men are coddled (generally) in regards to upbringing.
What's not to understand? There's a double standard when it comes to sexual assault because misogyny and hypermasculinity teaches that men should be strong enough to fight off predators and that they should be happy to get any type of sexual interaction. Also, the reactions when my male cousin got in comparison to his sister when they came forward about molestation was interesting to say the least , literally nobody blinked an eye at the former I still don't understand this
I did, did I not?then say boys, cus society coddles BW a hell of a lot more
They ain't the only ones.black males are sexualized at birth.
They ain't the only ones.
We live in a hypersexualized society.
Please expand on that.
"Black girls are raised, black boys are loved."
Black men are coddled (generally) in regards to upbringing.
Masculine & Feminine. Masculinity is penetrating offensive energy. Femininity is receptive defensive energy.black boys are sexualized as rapists, deviants, and predators.
black girls are sexualized sexually promiscuous, wild, and unruly.
world of difference.
Masculine & Feminine. Masculinity is penetrating offensive energy. Femininity is receptive defensive energy.
Men in general are seen as predators, black men especially which is why they are less likely to be taken seriously as victims.
Black women are also sexualized from birth. In fact the history of the hypersexualization of black women has been used as an excuse of why they should be "deemed" unrapeable. Even to this day, toted as "fast ass girls". Black youth as a whole are often denied a childhood innocence.
I would also take into account context here and this goes back into the coddled conversation. Do you believe black men are seen as predators within the black community? Because the context of the original quote is not meant to be taken universally. That would be obviously false. It is a quote used to address the black community.
