People on "ignore" can still give daps after you put them in ignore. I know. I've also seen people on here ask about still receiving PM's from people in the ignore list. I don't really know about that one though.

Yep. @reserveone Your thinking about "blocking".
Just because you put them on ignore, doesn't mean they can't see you too. Ignoring is more about "unseeing" them. You probably still send em a PM anyway now that I think about it.

Blocking is when you can't reach any interactive action between them and you(ie PMs, Mentions, etc.) Now if the coli had a blocking feature, I'm sure people would probably enjoy this site better and really have them nonexistent.

How I can easily ignore people on the daily just adds up to using the ignore feature already so I win regardless.

It still comes off as backwards as hell to me. My thing is when you ignore someone that should prevent them from reading your post and sending PMs. I'm just saying though would be nice.

Although, you can adjust who can send/receive PMs in the settings though. So it negates the latter idea.

If someone is being bothersome you can have the mods force them to ass you to their ignore list. That way the two of you can't interact
