Master's degree is so overrated imo. Everyone's situtation is different but it feels like pursuing your master's is an expensive excuse to stay in school.

When people ask me about pursuing a Masters I respond "You paying for it?"

That's the only way I'll go back, if any employer pays for it. No reason for me to be in school, when I'm networking, stacking, paying debt, and investing in the real world.

decided to go in with my parents in the purchase of a fourplex apartment. 10 min walk to BART and .5 mile to one of the shopping plazas in emeryville...this shyt came outta no where and i'm not really ready to buy, but this area is gentrifying so damn fast, it's a great investment and way to make sure there's still black ownership in this area.

I got 2 cousins (they're brothers) who went half on a quad-plex in LA, and continued to live at home well into mid 20s. They've since moved into purchased homes w significant others in other cities. They did it right. My youngins
