Vados (Whis sister) is the one who hired Hit to kill goku, but she hired him as a representative for someone else. We don't know who's the one who actually wants Goku dead, many think its Chompa.

Hit's Ki attack will stop Goku's heart and he will die. But moments before he got hit, Goku throws a boomerang Ki blast that hits his dead body and restarts his heart. Some crazy shyt
