│ Wow, I didn’t know any of that about Helen Keller. Did a quick skim of her Wikipedia and she was championing birth control, helping found the ACLU, donating to the NAACP, and fighting for workers’ rights all in the early 1900’s. And despite being blind and deaf, she still recognized her own privilege: “I owed my success partly to the advantages of my birth and environment. I have learned that the power to rise is not within the reach of everyone." Amazing.
