I am going to quit my job as soon as I find another.
This week solidified it.
I already know as soon as I leave the company will struggle and probably be out of business in a year. 100 people out of a job and I don't give a fukk. Not one. fukk these people.
The owner is so lazy. He never pays the people we work with on time. It's so embarrassing. We find good people who do great work and he dikks them around. Then he sends us out looking like fools; making us the face of his inability to budget. He doesn't follow what's going on at all and comes into every conversation clueless. Everything is logged and written for him and yet he reads nothing. Doesn't check his emails so we are always missing important dates.
It's been over 5 years and he still has no idea how to run his own business. He doesn't reinvest in the business and it takes weeks to get something as small as ink for the printer. Just yesterday he was complaining that I couldn't sit in for him for an owners meeting with his contract partner. Meanwhile I am not only doing my job but filling in for my coworker who is sick.
My whole staff is out. One girl's mom died, another's husband needs emergency surgery and the other is sick. Not once has he offered to come assist.
He puts no effort into hiring. He literally hired a nikka who is a clear meth addict. He literally changes the schedule throughout the week at the last minute and won't tell the people. He's a coward. Then they comes ranting and raving to me.
He never fires anyone. We report bad behavior and he literally let's it rock until they come at him crazy and then he just does his coward shyt by pretending to put them on the schedule and then changing it the day before.
We have vehicles that have been in the shop for almost a year because he refuses to deal with issues. Then he plays the victims like he is overcharged. I currently have 4 different vendors that he needs to pay and he is avoiding them like the plague.
The whole staff is lazy and dumb as fukk. He refuses to hire competent managers. There are 2 managers who literally just do what I tell them to do. Theses 2 ran their department into the ground to the point where 2/3 of our Fleet was out of commission. I took over a few months ago and now the whole fleet is back otr.
Do you think he fired them? Nope. He just put them on a part time salary and they basically get paid to do almost nothing.
People openly steal. It got so bad that he was paying thousands each month to cover their thief and he did nothing about it. Once a guy was banned from the building we were in for stealing snacks...he promoted the guy.
And then the same guy was stealing time. I literally had to fire him.
Everyone leans on me for the most basic shyt. These people have been working with Excel for years and still don't know how to format a cell. Da faq? They literally are clueless about almost everything. It's so frustrating. They call me for EVERYTHING!!!
Then the owner entertains the most foolish behavior. A chick brought in a fake doctors note. I told her to bring a real one and that was end of the conversation. He's literally been going back and forth with her for 2 weeks calling every fake phone number she told him to call. And then comes back to me on so giggle giggle shyt like "oh she's scamming, teehee." Like nikka can you follow up with a fukking vender?
I created a whole discipline system for everyone. It's simple, fair and gracious. The owner runs on pure emotions. Whenever he gets in a bad mood he literally wants me to suspend people for the most minor shyt and when he feels better he tries to come in on some hero shyt like it wasn't his decision in the first place trying to paint me as the bad guy. I literally just ignore his request to suspended people now.
I could go on and on about how truly fukked up this company is. I'm literally the whole company and just surrounded by people who want a free ride. I am done with this shyt. The sad thing is are numbers are incredible but only because I put so much effort in the success of the company. But then when I give e speech or give presentations I have to pretend like it's a team effort.
fukk that nikka and fukk this company. I am taking my talents else where.
