Do y’all think dogs have NDE? A few weeks ago my sister’s German shepherd almost died from a chicken bone she ate. She was in a ton of pain and she was lucky that my sister recognized it and took her to the vet hospital. The doctor told her that if she had waited even a few hours longer the dog would’ve been dead. They ended up having to perform surgery on the dog to save her life.
fast forward since that experience the dog has changed. Before this happened the dog was very quiet and stand-offish, didn’t like getting petted, was mean to the other dog my sister has, listened more, and would patiently wait for my sister to give her table food.
since her near death experience she’s been the opposite. She now rushes over to people wanting to get petted. She’s nicer to the small dog. She will take food off my sisters plate with nfg—my sister has to watch her now. She likes taking longer walks now too. And she has a little more bounce in her step. Like she really trying to live her life on different terms now.
