Honestly, this retail job is just another hustle. Supplementary income till something better comes along.
Workplace culture wise, it's not only a lot of black ppl there. Mostly cacs, Latino. They're cool. Friendly, extroverted and hard working.
For some reason, experience tells me to just keep to myself at work. The times I did open up felt like a instant regret.
I crack jokes and socialize from time to time. Speeding laughter in a shytty job makes it go quicker. The corporate work culture I feel is all about acting. Being a chameleon. Adopting to rise to the higher echelon.
I play the game, but can't front, just don't really feel comfortable at this job. It's like im "on defense". Stay away from work drama is code.
I was going to date a coworker here but that can wait. The bread is more important.

My uncle has a tumor between your eyebrows and lower forehead area. The surgery is risky, sometimes I wish it was me that had all those illnesses instead in the family. Just to die. I feel like I’m wasting air and taking up space. I want to be grateful for life but these been long 26 years. I just hate myself so much.
