TLR used to entertain AND inform me. It made me feel as a young black man in an area (San Diego) where there are so few black folk that I was having a virtual interaction with black folk to bridge the gap, on the void IRL. Threads would respectfully challenge viewpoints with parallel thought processes, and outlooks, professionals and blue collar alike would drop knowledge on their fields as threads or as post within threads on the humble.

I know whenever you look back on something that was enjoyable/fun there's nostalgia, but TLR used to have the ability to hold me down through a weekend indoors if necessary.

I concur, with out sports, or procrastination I don't come to this site to see takes, and discourse because the ignorance and malice is in every one. I used do have 1 poster on ignore, but one jumped 3, and at this moment there are like 6 posters who either through being complete miserable fukks, or posting trash/spamming world star/twitter hoe babble as threads should of been blocked a hot minute ago.

At this moment I know if I weeded out all the shyt posters and put them on ignore my feed of TLR would look like The Salon, few new threads, and low traffic. The bummer is all the great posters that brought me to this site got banned on BS or left because it fell off relative to when they joined.

It really does mirror the real world because the takeaway is people/society really ain't it, so you see/interact with them sparingly
