I have a few key suppliers who are now shipping additional product in 2022 at EARLIEST. I talk to everyone at supplier companies and they are fukking overwhelmed and many are preparing new price increases.

For some stuff like specialized hardware (spare parts, electronics) they are forcing you to prove you have real demand if you aren't an established customer to make sure you aren't a hoarder.

On the labor side you better consider upping wages at least by a fourth to keep people. Otherwise they are bouncing around. My big fear is a shyt load of counterfeit stuff is about to flood the market due to shortages and prices. If things don't improve soon the holiday season is going to be a shyt show

That’s one of the areas of contention I’m having with some of the management folks but ultimately it’s going to be my decision as far as wages. I’m looking at fixing our warehouse personnel at $18/hr and our delivery drivers at $21/hr.. that should keep them happy for the time being.

As far as product, the one advantage we have is that we also have operations (fisheries) up in New England and Charleston as far as sourcing our own lobsters, scallops, oysters, drum, bass, flounder, crab, etc..it helps with the costs and quality tremendously. shyt like Faroe Salmon, yellowfin tuna and all that other shyt you gotta get halfway cross the planet is the shyt that’s fukking up the financials.

I’m trying to angle things to where I can ride out any waves come this fall and winter and then draw down on company credit to possibly expand operations by buying out weaker competition..if I can save at least 60% of my original investment in the company in the end, I’ll be happy.

A narrative can always be sold to the public for consumption to keep the rabble happy but behind closed doors, the knives are out. Perceived enemies are actually allies and vice versa..it’s a tricky business and folks suffer casualties quite often. To be short, Milley is window dressing.
