HankHill still the homie, chop it up with him once in a blue moon on IG and always watching each other's IG stories....Taking a break from the coli (had to shyt on @4d 6f 6e 65 79 beforehand) and facebook for the summer. I'll pop in to tinychat every now and then (s/o to @father of men)
Scotty is a mechanic so his experience is from always having to fix them and since BMW uses plastic parts it makes fixing them a nightmare compared to other brands. With my car the issues have been almost all mechanic incompetence...shyt the engine died because some dumbass didn't tightened the cap and oil leaked out.It sounds like this person may have gotten a lemon and the car is 12 years old, so you'd expect things to break down. Your car is new(er) and had it's fair share of issues, so you can understand how shyt happens out of your control as the owner. I know some people that own BMW's, but maybe 7-8 years older at the most and they don't have as many issues as stated in this video. I agree maintenance costs are way too expensive.
