Sometimes I feel like when you’ve dealt with something that caused you intense pain, even after moving past it and/or forgiving those that caused you that anguish, you have to periodically remind yourself of it. You have to remind yourself how it felt so that you don’t end up back in that place again. It sounds extremely pessimistic but it works. I hate to admit that I use this tactic but sometimes when you’re TOO happy you become blind to a lot of things. I choose to never be blind again.
