Basically....she a hustling ass evil mufukka so she looking out for the best deal she can get. Luckily its in a suburb outside south of the city so not many people biting on it. But I live on the southside of chicago and only live about 10 mins away so I got no problem being in that area, won't change my lifestyle too much
Good, man. Happy to hear this. It's probably for the better if anything, when it really comes down to it. $10k is nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Yea thats how my aunt looking at it....fully paid off and the equity can go nowhere but up. She the one who somewhat convinced my mom to get the picture.
She a 6 cert 6 series ass chick so I'm not about to question her financial advice here

I learned there's always 3 sides to the story.....and I recently learned the 3rd about my aunt who we've been beefing with for the last decade....We've all patched things up. Death tends to bring you closer.

Don't take no equity out, unless it's to invest. Live within your means and enjoy never having to worry about rent or mortgage ever again (outside of property taxes). Like I mentioned, don't be afraid to roll up your sleeves and familiarize yourself with your house. It's a big responsibility, but the payoff is well worth it.
