I inherited the house I’m in now and slowly watched most of my neighbors dump theirs as soon as somebody offered them a little change. They spent what they got instead of rolling it over into another property and now they’ve either been priced out of california altogether or struggling to make ends meet due to the absurd rent and cost of living out here. You now have an almost free place to stay for the rest of your life with no one to raise the price on you either. Give your grandma a hug and consider yourself blessed, breh.

Yea that’s exactly what my momma said....People be struggle just to get one and to have one for free you don’t let that get away from the family if possible.

it’s kinda divine because 5 years ago my aunt passed away from cancer and this house was her gift to my cousin who just passed. And I’ll never forget we had a one on one convo and she just knew I’d be ok...was confident in it. She just insisted that whatever I choose to do, help people. So here I am dealing with the sick and elder everyday for work. So imma take this gift for what I think it is
