I’m trying to make it there for my next big vacation. It seems like heaven.

Go towards this time of the year when some islands are doing j'ouvert (carnival).

The island where I'm from does it all week long 24/7... not a Goddamn CAC in sight... no shootings... the only robberies that happen are to old American CACs near the ports when they dock off to floss in our faces... It's beautiful.

In one day I saw Beenie Man, Sizzla, and Beres Hammond perform to what amounted to be £10. That would cost me like £50+ per head over here.


Go for 2 weeks spending one week doing carnival in one island then spend the next week island hopping and visiting each island to experience their culture.

I plan on going back too.
