The last time this happened we found out she had a heart valve that was closing too tightly and it was putting fluid on her lungs and around her heart. So last July she had stents put in. We were afraid that was the case this time. Luckily she just has an upper respiratory infection due to allergies.

Thats good to hear, hopefully with good medicine she'll be back in good shape. I understand tho, this weather ain't being kind to big mamas....mine been aching and coughing for the past 2 months and we taking her to a pain specialist on tuesday cause she eating Tramadol and Hydrocodones like fukking skittles.




Her short term memory is getting awful now so she'll forget she took a pain pill an hour ago and will try to take another if she isn't monitored.

Bless her heart! I hope they find the right treatment for her and may be you guys can get her some memory therapy. Being in constant pain is no fun and all those pain meds are doing is dulling the pain for a little while. I see that kinda stuff all day long. These pain clinics are making a killing off of people and they starting to cut people down on their pain meds and giving them stuff like tramadol, soma, robaxin, etc etc so they don't become hooked.

That's exactly what walgreens did to her. She use to get a pill count of 90 and would get 2-3 refills before needing a doctor prescription. Now they only give her 28 at a time and only 1 refill. shyt is crazy cause taking 2-3 pills a day that shyt don't even last more than 3 weeks.

Opioid laws man...They are becoming really strict. Maybe they should put her on some continuous type med like a pain patch and give her something like the tramadol for breakthrough pain.
