I got diagnosed with subnungal hematoma on my big toenail last month with my podiatrist recommended either to wait till the hematoma disappears in 9 months or go through the nail trephination procedure which was gonna cost me a good $2,000 which my health insurance said they do not cover.

A month later today i find that my hematoma is actually healing up faster than predicted. Thank goodness i didn't go through the procedure cause i found on the net that it's very painful
